Sosthene grew up in Central African Republic (CAR), living on the streeets from the age of 8 when his parents divorced. He lived the life of an orphan for most of his childhood, even for several years before his parents passed away. A few years later, his involvement in a local church blessed him with accommodation and the ability to start his own small business. After saving his earnings, he was able to rent a house that eventually became a place to look after his younger siblings.
