Dan was really happy to visit the first OKM-funded shop on his recent trip to Uganda. One of our goals is to enable families to run income-generating projects that provide training for the children, and funds to meet the needs of the families. Dorothy and Mable, both OKM mothers, are the co-initiators of this new stationery shop that supplies school children and local businesses. “It is in the middle of the town, so there is plenty of foot-traffic going by that is able to take advantage of the shop.” (more…)
