When is a Chicken no longer a Chicken?

KIF_1489_1_1.jpgWhen a chicken becomes a goat, or a pig, or even a brand new purpose built chicken home!

We are overwhelmed by the response you all have made to the Chicken Challenge. Today we’re celebrating reaching our initial target of 700 chickens! But the challenge isn’t over, your chickens can become something more to empower our Ugandan friends with income generating projects.

In chicken currency, 4 chickens can buy a pig or a goat and 14 chickens will buy materials for each family to build their own hen house.

So please keep your chickens coming! Until April 30th, the challenge goes on…

  1. Just came on to see how the chicken challenge was going. today its at 990 and its only the 10th of April. 20 Days to go still. What an amazing opportunity to buy thousands more chickens, which will represent other income and food sources such as pigs, goats and hen houses. This Challenge has and will truly bless the orphans of Uganda as well as their communities.
If you’re reading this and haven’t donated yet, I encourage you to do so, one chicken in the lives of these people will make more of a difference than you can imagine.
    Bless you all,

    Stuart
